Revira technology is inspired by the healthcare industry and is based on a unique form of sensory-based programming, developed in collaboration between German and American researchers. When animals approach the Revira granules, they sense a warning signal that causes them to avoid the treated area – without harmful side effects.

By 1997, the research on deer was completed, and the product was put into use to safely guide the animals away from dangerous road and railway crossings. The great success quickly led to demand for other animal species, which resulted in the development of two new products:

• Revira Cat – effective against cats and sheep
  
• Revira Small Animals – protects against mice, voles, badgers and the like
  
  

Revira was launched on the open market in 2002 and is currently available at over 150 retailers in Norway. At the same time, the product was introduced in Sweden, and has since expanded to Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
