Product description

Revira is an effective and environmentally friendly deterrent that is easy to apply. It is harmless to animals, humans and nature. Based on granulate (leca) – burnt clay without added chemicals.

It does not smell, it does not contain toxins or other harmful chemicals, it is barely visible and therefore does not hinder anything or anyone and it has no harmful physical effects on either animals or plants.

Proven effect

Revira has, over its almost 30 years, saved large numbers of animals, saved hundreds of millions of kroner in unique injuries and solved a lot of frustration. Countless tests have been carried out and are still being carried out on different and the same animals, surfaces and conditions.

In Germany, multi-year testing has been carried out together with an insurance company that shows a reduction in wildlife collisions by approx. 95% on treated road sections.

Similarly, the product has been tested together with Bioforsk Nord with good results.

No matter how many successful tests have been carried out and how many customers experience the desired effect, the product will not be able to provide a guaranteed effect. Animals that flee, are in panic or are in heat will probably only be stopped by physical fences.

Deterring deer and grazing wildlife

Revira is a long-lasting, environmentally friendly deer deterrent designed to help reduce grazing damage in gardens, planted areas and land. It creates a natural perimeter that deer instinctively avoid, helping to discourage repeated visits over time.

Deer game – for deer, roe deer, moose and reindeer.

Effective protection against grazing damage and wildlife accidents

Principle:

The game should respond to the signals well in advance of reaching the grazing area. Therefore, the granules are spread 3–15 meters from the edge of the area to be protected.

Use and spread:

The granules are distributed evenly with approximately 20–30 balls per m² in a 2 meter wide strip.

Spread by hand in the same way as sowing.

Avoid overdosing and leave no gaps in the protection.

Coverage:

2 liters of Revira is enough for a "fence" of 125 meters, or 250m2,

Use in plant fields:

In addition to the fence described above, a diagonal protective strip (2 meters wide) is laid through the planting field for extra effect.

Use along roads to reduce wildlife accidents:

Used where animals graze or cross the road on sections with poor visibility and a high risk of collisions.

The granulate is spread in a 2 meter wide strip, 5–20 meters from the roadside on both sides.

Openings are made in places with good visibility to control the animals' movements.

Effect and duration:

Works best on animals in normal foraging.

Hunted animals, or animals in heat or hunting, may be more difficult to influence.

Correct use has shown a high deterrent effect, with up to a 95% reduction in wildlife accidents on roads in Germany.
The effect lasts 3–6 months .

Bent Salmelid, Operations Manager Gravplassen

"We have used Revira for many years and are very satisfied! It has been used to keep deer away from areas with spring flowers such as tulips and crocuses at the Graveyard in Lørenskog, which is one of the largest in the country with approx. 12,000 graves."
